Each flag comes with one coat of Minwax indoor/outdoor Spar Urethane that protects from Sunlight, Rain & Moisture, and temperature changes. This coating is on the front and we recommend that all flags be displayed under a protected area like a porch, roof-line, or inside. If you chose to display in the elements you can add coats of protection to the front and back.
